Yesterday, a dozen Audlem Cycling club riders took part in the Brian Rourke Cystic-Fibrosis charity ride.
The 55 mile route took in two Peak District climbs, the infamous 7 mile Cat and Fiddle, and shorter but steeper Axe Edge. On their own these climbs are to be respected, add in torrential rain, high speed winds, and it makes them almost impossible.
Nonetheless the Audlem riders gritted their collective chattering teeth and completed the course raising money for the CF Trust at the same time.
