On Wednesday 15th May the AGM of Audlem Charity Shop was held at the Bridge Inn Audlem

It was very well attended by volunteers past and present.

Helen Beardshall, the charity shop Chair opened the meeting with praise for all volunteers for their hard work, generosity and time so freely and willingly given.

Helen commented that the charity shop, even though , due to bad weather it had had to close for 11 Saturdays it still had a splendid year.

The financial report was given by Carol Harker, Treasurer.

The accounts show that the shop has had a record year, so much so that a total of £53500 can be donated to our well deserved chosen charities.

This was distributed as follows:

• £4000 to ADCA Audlem & District Community Action.
• £3,500 to Wingate Children's Special Trust
• £4000 to The WheelyBoat / Bus
• £1000 to Wybunbury Anglers Association
• £1000 to Audlem 1st Responders
• £40,000 to St Lukes Hospice.

Apologies were received from The Audlem 1st Responders who were unable to attend due to other commitments.

All these charities benefit so many in our local community.

Thanks were again expressed to all volunteers and also for the generosity of all who donate their items so that The Charity Shop can carry on going from strength to strength.

Helen thanked everyone for coming and the meeting closed at 2.55pm
