Audlem Bowling Club's Charities

The Audlem Bowling Club's nominated charities for 2024 are Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and Parkinson's UK.

In essence what this means is that club members seek to raise as much as possible through their Annual Charity Plate competition day and other activities for these great causes.

One of these 'other' activities is a Blind Auction for which club member and artist, Andy Sturdy, has kindly donated one of his paintings.

This stunning view of Lock 4 on the Audlem flight with the small canal linesman's lookout building, tucked away to the left, has been painted in Inks and is inspired by Carolyn J Roberts' rinse and repeat style.

The dimensions are 37cm x 24cm and I am sure you will agree it is a great representation of a local landmark that would make an ideal focal point in any room.
