Audlem at Wembley

The more eagle eyed amongst those watching England's football team thrashing Andorra 6-0 midweek will have spotted an England banner sporting the words "Audlem School". There was a party of 41 very excited children (and 7 equally excited adults) at the game from Audlem St James primary school.

The children were thrilled to see Beckham, Rooney, Gerrard et al at close quarters and represented the village superbly – though their loud chanting of "we want seven" went unanswered!
