Audlem and district ghost stories needed

Just when you thought Halloween was safely out of the way, Tim Prevett, an award winning Roman Chester Guide, passionate prehistorian, and researcher of many things weird and wonderful has contacted Audlem Online. He says: "I am running the Crewe Ghost Walk, which will be an ongoing feature in Crewe, and developing a Nantwich Ghost Walk. Would it be possible to put out an appeal for Audlem ghost tales and public venues which could benefit from a ghost walk?"

Audlem Online has heard of some pretty weird and ghostly events in a field in Lightwood Green over the years. But are there other stories that could be passed on.
