The Winner of ASET's 'guess how many fireworks' competition is Edward Thompson, who guessed there are 780 fireworks to be used at Audlem's Fireworks Display tomorrow night.
The actual answer is 683 individual fireworks, which will be fired from 6 locations across the field, electronically with a precision of 35 milliseconds between some of the ignitions. The fireworks will reach an altitude of almost 200 metres (equivalent to 20 double decker buses on top of each other or 2 football fields laid vertically end to end.)
You can save money and avoid the queues by buying your tickets in advance from Audlem Post Office, Nantwich TIC and Blitz Fireworks in Crewe. Otherwise we hope to see you tomorrow night at Audlem Playing Fields.
