ARS Wednesday Wanderers

The next Wednesday Wanderers walk (ARS) will be on 29th April at 9.30 a.m. starting from the Town Hall Car Park led by Peter Jackson.

The walk is the Highfields circuit with a maximum distance of 5 miles. We leave the Car Park and head along the towpath towards Adderley, then leave the canal at Bridge 72 and go through Hawksmoor Farm to follow the track past Highfields, a fine historic house.

We stay on the track until we get to Woodhouse Lane and head for Paddock Lane and Woore Road for our return to the village. (No stiles on this walk)

We will take a short break halfway, so please bring refreshments with you.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
