This coming Saturday's ARS (Audlem Ramblers' Society) walk is a linear effort from Teggs Nose Country Park and ending at Upper Hulme

It's organised by Tony Crowther and his faithful companion Tag.

The route takes us from Teggs Nose Country Park (where there is secure parking and toilet facilities) via Macclesfield Forest and Trentabank Reservoir.

Then it's either around or over Shutlingsloe (1500ft), through Wildboarclough, over Tagsclough Hill to Gradbach, then via Lud's Church onto the Roaches and Hen Cloud before ending at the Olde Rock Inn, Upper Hulme.

According to Tony, the walk is approximately 11 miles and involves 1243 feet of climbing. There are options for a shorter walk either around Macclesfield Forest or by leaving an additional car at Gradbach. If anyone is interested in this please contact Tony or myself.

It's an 8.00am start at Audlem car park.

If anyone that's new to ARS is interested in this walk, please contact me at andydavidsonatb@hotmail.com">andydavidsonatb@hotmail.com for advice on boots, equipment etc.
