(The website link that was here no longer works) After extensive consultation amongst ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) members, the May walk this coming Saturday will be up Cnicht, a lovely little mountain in North Wales. Whilst ARS only walked this two to three years ago it is one of the group's favourite mountains.

The main walk is easy with only approximately 500 to 600 metres of mainly gentle ascent. Those fitter people can walk on and take in two further summits on a 9 mile circuit, the walk up and down Cnicht being considerably shorter.

In the event of the weather forecast being bad in North Wales, a reserve option of a walk in Shropshire is available. If you are interested in a very pleasant sociable walk, meet at Audlem car park at 7.50am for an 8.00am departure this Saturday.
