STORM GARETTI DISRUPTS ARS WALK

As the snow left us earlier this week, we were optimistic that the Cannock Chase walk would still go ahead.

However, with the arrival of storm Goretti, Cannock has suffered very heavy snowfall, and it seems sensible to postpone the walk until Saturday 17th January and hope for better weather conditions.

Rather than do without a walk this coming Saturday, I propose a walk round Highfields, which is a circuit of about 6 miles starting from the car park at 9am. Let s hope the conditions are ok .
