On Saturday, ARS, the Audlem Ramblers Society, tackled the Nantlle Ridge, one of the classic ridge walks in Snowdonia. This grassy topped ridge gives excellent views eastwards towards Snowdonia proper and westwards over to Anglesey.
Christine Johnson has sent Audlem Online these photographs of the group taking a short breather on their climb and a shot of the ridge itself.
ARS now organises two walks a month, the main ARS walk on the second Saturday of the month, normally 8 – 12 miles and often in Snowdonia, Shropshire or the Peak District, and Short-ARS, more local walks generally with fewer steep climbs and typically of 5-7 miles length.
The Short-ARS walks are normally on the fourth Saturday of each month. Look for details on Audlem Online a week before the walks are scheduled.
