This Saturday's ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) walk was going to try a traverse on the Nantlle Ridge, but this is a serious walk involving some scrambling and in view of the nights drawing in we have decided to postpone this.

As an alternative, we have switched to an old favourite, Lathkill Dale and Bradford Dale in Derbyshire. This is a 9 mile (approximately) walk along two
beautiful dales, and hopefully lovely Autumnal colours. Minimal height gain is involved and the walk probably rates 2 boots on our scale of difficulty.

An 8.00 am start is proposed, by our organiser John Down, at Audlem car park.

If you are joining an ARS walk for the first time, do check with ARS about boots, equipment etc before setting out.
