Apologies to Sudoku fans

Unfortunately the Sudokus on the puzzles page (apart from the classic Sudoku) went off the air on Tuesday for several hours. This was due entirely to incompetence in the technical departmant which had forgotten to sort out the relevant files while it was in Australia.

The problem has now been rectified, and a full internal enquiry will now be undertaken so that control procedures can be put in place to avoid any recurrence of the situation.

Meanwhile the management cannot accept any responsibility for any psychological damage caused by the temporary loss of the Sudoku service.
