And this time it won't cost you a penny!

As we get closer to the start of the Public Hall's new Annexe, the APHAx Committee is looking for funding opportunities to help furnish and equip the building. Already we have had funds provided from Cheshire East, Cheshire Community Foundation and the Williams Foundation to furnish the Youth Club rooms and the lounge and dining area for the Senior's Day Club and now our attention is focused on the upstairs changing rooms.

The changing rooms and showers will be there not only for sports teams and officials, and the users of the gym, but will also be available for the artists and performers of the 5As when they come to put on their annual panto and other productions.

Aviva Community Fund

We have applied to the Aviva Community Fund for £3,500 to purchase benches, lockers and all the other bits and pieces that will be needed. Our application has been selected by Aviva to go forward to the next stage and it is now that everyone can help.

We need everyone who is in favour of the APHAx project to cast their votes for us.

The closing date for placing votes is November 18th 2016.

The process is in three steps

  • 1. Register with the Aviva site. They ask for an e-mail address and password (which is then confirmed using a very similar process to the one AudlemOnline uses).
  • 2. Log in to the site using the e-mail address and password you have registered.
  • 3. Vote for the APHAx project. The easiest way to do this within the voting process is to type the word "Audlem" into the search box and then click on search – the APHAx project will appear. You click on this and at last a voting form appears and you can actually record your (ten, we hope!) votes.

You can start the whole process by clicking here. It is a bit fiddly, but it should only take a couple of minutes and if we succeed it will be worth it and you will have played your part in the success of the Annexe.
