Another record month

April was another record readership month for Audlem Online with 35,273 readers clicking on, an average of 1,175 a day.

This beat the previous best in January this year when 34,844 people clicked on to Audlem Online – and January, of course had the advantage of 31 days to April's 30.

We reckon the wet weather helped enormously – the daily readership statistics do reflect weather conditions with dull drizzly days undoubtedly attracting greater numbers of readers. And there's been all too many this April.

Our thanks also to all our contributors, those that send in news, articles – this past month has seen particularly interesting pieces covering the likes of music, the Falklands and an Audlem self-build project – and those writing for Chatbox.

We have much to excite in May with the Audlem Festival just four and a bit weeks away so, expect much on music and the arts over the coming month. And much else, of course.
