An alert

A local shop has contacted Audlem Online to say:

"We've had a very concerned customer who came in the shop yesterday, to report that there is a very suspcious scrap van, plus small trailer going around Audlem.

"The van contained four men and was towing a very small trailer. The van was driving slowly while all four men, even those in the back seats, appeared to be eyeing up properties.

"Please could you warn people to be vigilant over the next few days."
