Adopt a patch

Bill Consterdine, past chairman and member of the Parish Council had a thought which may be of interest.

Discussing his idea with him, I suggested that we seek a response to the question: "Would residents be willing to adopt a patch of the village and outlying area with the aim of keeping it clean etc? Perhaps a watering duty for the plants we place around the streets. Perhaps to it keep litter free. Perhaps to just take care of it."

I think it is a good idea and Bill is fully backed by myself as chair of ADAS. What does everyone think?
