Let the Music Play!

Audlem residents are not simply intellectual creatures, although for some this is debatable, but mainly we like to have fun!

We like to make love, to cheer lustily and loudly at Audlem FC as they pummel the opposition into the mud, to engage in spirited gossip, with our Rummikub and Bridge friends. We enjoy the excitement of travelling to exotic places like Hankelow, Buerton and occasionally Woore, and joining in the debating with others about building extra parking on Turnpike Field.

As we strive to make this a better world, let us cast our minds to the better things in life, mainly the Arts. Music and dancing are amongst our richest joys and combining them with a three course dinner (rather than one where the meat is so tough that it gets up off the plate to fight with the coffee which is too weak to defend itself) they contribute immensely to the good things in life, which is why we must cherish them.

And where can we combine all these desirable joys?

At the ADCA Grand Dinner and Dance of course!

It takes place on Saturday March 26th in the Town Hall, where you will not only enjoy a full three course meal delivered by Beech Tree Catering, but also the musical dancing delights of the Cheshire 20 Big Band. What more could you desire? Table service? A grand raffle? An endless supply of alcohol? Your wish is our command! (Well, within reason!)

And all for an amazing, inflation beating, 2019 price – just £30 a ticket!

Dinner Dance Dicket Deadline

(Yes, yes, I know, but hey, talliteration trumps tickets!)

All tickets must be sold by noon on Friday 11th March as the caterers have a mountain of cooking to do and need to know how many of you are coming!

You can order your tickets from these fine gentlemen:

Or you can call in at the ADCA Office in Audlem Public Hall Annexe on Wednesday or Friday morning (remember that that will be the VERY LAST CHANCE!).

There are still a few tickets available, so dig out those glad rags, make up a party or a twosome or threesome (all combinations catered for!), and remember! You may not be as young as you used to be, but you're not as old as you're going to be and life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but it's your choice to scream or enjoy the ride!
