Coronavirus Home Support Service

ADCA is now providing support and food and prescription deliveries to people who are self-isolated or live alone whose family, friends or neighbours are unable to help. For those people needing support it is important that you get it from people you know or trust.

This ADCA service covers the four local parishes of Audlem Buerton, Hankelow and Hatherton & Walgherton. We are working with the Parish Councils, Cheshire East Council, Audlem Medical Practice, Boots Chemists, Audlem Co-op, the Lord Combermere and other local groups and churches.

ADCA staff and volunteers continue to support the 80 older people and 100 carers we already work with as well as a growing number of new people who have referred themselves to us for help.

Our phone line is open between 9am and 12noon every day and also has an answerphone where you can leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you know of neighbours or local friends who may need support and don't know them well enough to provide it yourself or are unable to, please refer them onto ADCA with their permission.

We also need more volunteers to help us so please contact us by telephone or email and we will contact you to arrange a DBS check and brief induction. You will understand that we need to safeguard the vulnerable people we are working with. Thank you to the 20 new volunteers who have already come forward to help ADCA and our local community.
