A reminder that the 40th Annual General Meeting of the Audlem District Amenities Society takes place tonight, Thursday at the Scout & Guide Hall at 7.30pm.
The programme is to deal with the official business until around 8.00pm and thereafter to see a display of past ADAS history covering many matters such as the saving of the Cottages in Stafford St; the renovations at Salford; the Bellyse Monument; the Raft Race and many other items.
We will be serving wines and nibbles as we all meet up to enjoy chatting plus a display of the recent adventure by the Fire Cadets in Ghana.
It should all be over by 9.00pm and all are welcome to come along and join with us in celebrating 40 years of serving the community – the Society must be one of the oldest in the village.
