ADAPT stall this Saturday

The ADAPT Saturday Stall (Lord Combermere car park from 10am to noon) is becoming a favourite of many regulars

Produce always flies off the table, hoping this week for

• eggs including Quail eggs
• honey
• rhubarb
• and may be even a few strawberries.

Plants are slower to sell-"only a small garden, go away a lot, don't know how to look after them" being common excuses.
If we all grew a few bits of something there would be less imported fruit and veg. Even just a large pot with a tomato plant.

Plants this week could include

• tomato plants,
• beans and or pea plants
• several different herbs
• squashes and pumpkin seedlings could be coming along

I have sown courgettes for the third time – think my conservatory got too hot!'
