Held Saturday morning between 10.00 and 12.00 in the Lord Cumbermere car park. All produce comes to you from the Audlem district, low air miles and very fresh. So come early and get the pick of the crop.
It is getting near the end of the season and the weather has been a bit unsettled! But on the stall this week we should have freshly dug potatoes, spinach, beetroot, runner beans, onions and kohlrabi. Damsons and lots different kinds of apples and pears, find out which ones are the best keepers, tastiest and cookers. As usual we should have lots of large and small eggs. Preserve, jams, jellies and chutney. Barra Breth and lemon drizzle cake.
Very soon ADAPT food group will be holding there annual Apple Pressing. Start saving apples pop them in the freezer they produce more juice. Don't worry if you don't, apples will still give you lots of lovely juice. Start saving milk and pop bottles to put your juice in. If you have a apple or pear tree but don't have time to pick the fruit ask and we may be able to help you out, come along to the Saturday Stall and ask. Apple Pressing is a great Audlem facility, come along and have some fun.
Thank you
