Thank you all who braved the foul weather last Saturday. It was so cold after the warmth of the previous week.

Those who came had a huge choice of plants and produce. This week the Honey man will be there with new season honey and some runny honey as well. The usual free range eggs will be available. No green eggs this week as hen temporarily on strike. Early season rhubarb but you will have to be early as it was sold out by 10.10 last week.

There are a large selection of both veggie plants as well as bedding flowering plants. No strawberry plants this week nor next but the week after lots of main crop Mawhina, voted the best resistant strawberry.

Again there will be tomato plants but again in 3 weeks a lot of hardened off Alicante and Money maker.

We look forward to seeing all our regular customers to have a chat if nothing else. Also gardening advice as it can be a tricky time of year particularly for the marrow/ courgette families

Don't forget that most beans are very frost sensitive so if they are already out they may well need some protection this weekend
