







Our Spring weather is all over the place and one day we are basking in the sunshine and its back to winter on the next day. We might have to batten down our market gazebo on Saturday otherwise it may do a "Marry Poppins" and disappear into the next county.
Most early sown tender vegetable seedings are needing some protection from the windy and cooler weather.
If you haven't planted your first early potatoes yet, or sown your broad beans, there is still time as the soil warms up, they will catch up.
Also the pollinators are struggling as much of the blossom has blown away when insects need the nectar and pollen to feed their family and the early fruit trees will be sparsely pollinated. These will be the damsons, plums and greengages.
