The ADAPT Food Group plan to publish a seasonal recipe every month, putting paper copies in Hoc's Fat Pigeon and sending them to Audlem Online.

ADAPT November recipeSpiced Pumpkin and Ginger Soup:
1 kg pumpkin, skinned & chopped, including seeds
1.5 litres vegetable stock
1 medium onion, peeled & chopped
2 medium potatoes, peeled & chopped
2inch square piece fresh ginger, peeled & chopped
Fresh chillies to taste
Salt
Black pepper

Cook the prepared vegetables in the stock until soft.
Add ginger and liquidise.
Return to saucepan, add chopped chilli.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Season to taste.
