A hardy bunch of ADAPT volunteers braved wind and rain to carry out some Spring gardening in the grounds of the Baptist Church in the village on Saturday.

The Baptist Church has provided a venue for meetings since the group was formed. As a way of thanking the kind people of the church, ADAPT volunteers provide a gardening working party from time to time to help keep the grounds in order.

Next ADAPT meeting

Environmental group ADAPT is working to support the development of a sustainable, resilient and inspiring community for ourselves and future generations.

Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of the month at the Baptist Church, Woore Road at 7.30pm. The next meeting is on 1 April and will include an interesting talk on bee-keeping by ADAPT member Chris Knibbs.

Everyone is very welcome to attend.
