ADAPT Cycle Rides

I can understand that waking to a covering of snow might put people off a cycle ride but actually the weather last Sunday was lovely blue sky and we did not get any precipitation! The wind did make it harder-like an exercise bike turned up to high resistance but that was part of the challenge! The Bhurtpore provides a good range of light meals and you are almost home by then!

You do not have to be a member of ADAPT to go on a ride, it is organised by members to encourage the general public to dust off their bikes! We will accommodate the slowest rider, young or old. If you do decide you want to come to meetings and support our efforts to improve routes, make it easier to use public transport or install bike racks etc then you would be invited to join which does not cost anything!

Members of the public who would like to sell surplus home grown produce on our Saturday stall have to be members for insurance purposes but for
bike rides we just have to keep a list of your names. As the weather improves we hope to see more of you!
