ADAPT Cycle rides

ADAPT's Transport Group has been organising monthly Sunday cycle rides for two years now to support the launch of the Audlem area cycle map.

Over 40 cyclists have participated, and we've had many marvellous rides throughout the network of routes we have developed in the area around Audlem. We think that the programme of organised rides has now perhaps run its course, so we have taken the decision to discontinue the regular publicised Sunday rides.

However, we still love our trips out, so plan to continue to set out as a group from time to time. We hope that some of the participants in our Sunday cycle ride programme will want to join us. We've enjoyed your company and don't want to lose touch.

If you are interested in taking part, either regularly or occasionally, please contact Graham Lamb at graham.e.lamb@googlemail.com or 07780 376378 and we will include you in the e-mail distribution list to establish when and how far we go and to communicate on ride plans. It's our intention to continue with trips at a modest pace and plan the rides to suit all those who want to be involved.

So, finally, just to confirm: there will be no cycle ride setting out from The Bridge this Sunday morning, June 9th.
