ADAPT Apple Pressing time

Don't throw those apples away! Turn them into delicious juice! ADAPT is planning to bring their equipment (bought with money from the Saturday market) to the village for sessions in September. If the apples are off the tree now put them in the freezer-no need to peel or core or bother about bruising but personally I wash and de grub them. Chop up and put in a carrier bag in the freezer.

Then at least 24 hrs before pressing get them out. This means loads more juice is released. If you are still not enthused about having your own juice then the Saturday stall will always accept donations of apples. We then mull the juice for our
Christmas celebration with the village 'A home made Christmas'.

We also accept egg boxes/ plastic cartons/ jamjars etc that could be re used-or if you want some please ask on Saturday.

Dates and times of pressing sessions to be announced but get freezing............
