Abuy, the new Buy/Sell/'Free to a good home' service on Audlem Online has taken off in a big way. So much so that we urge you to keep clicking on 'Next' at the bottom of the listed items. Pages and pages of items are now available, or wanted, or can even be picked up for free.
There's an even better reason to keep scrolling through all the items – the 'Wanted' and 'Free to a good home' ads are near the end of the list. This is something the Audlem Online webteam will be looking at as we didn't quite expect so many items to be put up for sale so quickly. The result is that 'Wanted' and 'Free' items may not be as visible as we would like.
Some advertisers have told us via emails and the Chatbox how well items have been selling. One Chaboxer yesterday told us he'd had success with seven advertisements so far and all sold to local people.
Check out Abuy by clicking on BuySell on the top horizontal bar. It's exclusive to Audlem Online. Abuy stands for 'Audlem Buy' and should not, of course, be confused with a similarly named international selling and buying system.
Abuy is local which means items are being recycled and reused and, hopefully, making a bit of money by selling goods no longer needed. And, as they say, every little helps.
