A529 Roadworks at Little Heath

AudlemOnline apologises to any readers misled by an earlier version of this story – caused by the editor's failing to read the notice accurately as he drove into the village at 30mph.

There is a sign by the road at Little Heath saying that the road (presumably the A529) will be closed on July 1st for three days, and this is confirmed by the Cheshire East website.

The Cheshiure East roadworks website says that the A529 will have a lights-controlled section from yesterday controlling a stretch just opposite where the new Anwyll estate is being built. There is as yet no sign of this happening.
