We received this plea from a well-respected personage in the higher echelons of ADCA.
"Please see attached Photo of Jessie's poem on Vera Lynn which she sent to Vera on her 100th Birthday and got a reply of acknowledgement! Jessie is telling us we have to get it published again on VE Day so any chance of doing this for tomorrow or have we missed the stop press deadline?"
The editors have decided to rush this in at the last minute in view of the auspicious occasion, the author and, not least, the subject of the poem.
....And we will ignore the fact that it has been presented as a photograph of a scruffy bit of paper in contravention of our strict publishing guidelines.
