"Head Shaving" for Cancer Research

A "Head Shaving" Fundraising event is to be held at The Shroppie Fly, 8.00pm start, on 23rd December with all proceeds to Cancer Research UK.

A week ago, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Secondaries in my stomach and spine. I have been inspired to arrange this by a lovely young lady called Kelly, who sadly lost her husband to this dreadful disease five years ago. Kelly is arranging a similar event to have her head shaved in Woore.

To support me, my husband, Mike, Kate, Matt, Paul & Chris are also joining me at The Shroppie Fly and having their heads shaved too! Another friend, Alan, has committed to having his head shaved too, which now brings the total recruits to seven.
