Cash Payments for Car Parking are finally back.

When car parking charges were reintroduced in June, I think we were all surprised that 'our cash payment' was valued in the nearby counties of Shropshire and Staffordshire whilst Cheshire East restricted us to contactless card or mobile phone payment only.

I am therefore delighted to report that sense has finally prevailed and as from today (Monday 17 August), Cheshire East Council will accept cash payments for car parking.
