Can't be 'the one in the middle' because it's not, could be 'the odd one out' but there again it's not out cos it's in or it is Colin's latest cracker joke. Ho ho ho.
Er...it it just me or is there anyone else out there that doesn't know why there's the word 'aside' after peoples posts.
P.S. Just in case it's a trend; a bit like people starting their sentences with the word 'so' and going up at the end of their sentences; I'll put it at the end of my post.aside ;-)
As I'm older than five years of age and therefore, a technophobe, can some one please explain in words of one syllable why we are suddenly seeing <aside></aside> after recent Chatbox entries? Aside from that I think that I'm slowly getting to grips with things technical.

Over the past few months there has been an increase in the amount of shotgun noise outside the village. I was recently advised that it was a bird scarer that was the culprit. Can anyone explain why this activity is going on at this time of the year? Is permission required for this activity? The reason I ask, my dog, an 8 year old collie, refuses to leave the house and gets very agitated by the noise.

I would like to thank Dale at the Shroppie for making my husband and I so very welcome for my birthday meal last evening (14th). The meal was extremely good and the wine went down a treat. The pub was warm and welcoming and several groups of drinkers and diners came to enjoy the atmosphere. We wish them a great Christmas season and good luck for the future.

How fantastic, what a hospitable, warm, homely welcome by Mike, Dale and Alice (& Benson) last night. Lovely food, warm, traditional, village pub. It was great to see friendly faces from the village enjoying the same. You have new regulars in us! Good luck to the team, what a fabulous start.
The present building would not be suitable for storage of archive material which needs controlled temperature and humidity. I think the bulk of the money comes from national grants which have been won. This development should bring some prestige and visitors to Crewe.

How much taxpayers money have the council got to provide towards this when the building thats there is perfectly good enough and they continue to claim to not have enough for essential services?
So the archives are coming to Crewe – that's old news
As somebody who spends most of my free time conducting research for myself and other people it,s great news that at last the new research in Crewe is finally going ahead.
What a lovely surprise was delivered on Thursday from the Mum's and toddlers from Praise and Play. It was very much appreciated and may l take this opportunity to wish them a merry Christmas and l hope Santa brings them lots of toys.
After a long walk in the cold sunshine with our dog it was lovely to be able to call into the Shroppie Fly for a 'delectable' hot chocolate. We had a very warm friendly welcome and after hearing about their plans for fresh home cooked food served from 14th December we will definitely call in next week for lunch. Good luck for the future.
