Hi All,

Yesterday evening between 6.30pm and 7pm, someone violently kicked our front door, leaving a shoe mark and cracking a panel on the door. We're not aware of upsetting anyone and have no idea why someone would do that. I'm just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Thanks Celia – I've found that site. I was able to see that the footpath was on the OS 1987 Map, but not an anything earlier that was available.

Steve, if you go to the Nls nat library of Scotland maps site you can see old tracks used to access the mill e.g. 1882 I don't know if this helps

Last week, two things in particular that stood out on AoL as being excellent were the exceptional ADCA letter written by Roger Millns to Cheshire East opposing the proposed car parking charges. Point by point and line by line, a devastating critique of CE proposal. Bravo.

The second item was the beautiful prose poem written by Adrian. Even the good lady of this establishment commented upon it and she's a teacher... and don't I know it!

We are conscious of the recent heavy rainfall and additional need of safety for both walkers and operatives so have decided to close the path during this time. Why is the picture of the old white lion used instead of the new white lion? It's been a few years since the renovation time to change the photo.

Does anyone do runs to the skips? Mostly chipboard furniture.

The bus was late today due to the long diversion and is not expected till 10:30 am , this Friday 11/10.

The works are scheduled to take place 7-9 October are for 'lining for scrim works' on the carriage way between Longhill Lane & Birchall Moss Lane.

Does anyone know why the A529 is scheduled to be closed this week from 07 -09 Oct near to Hankelow?

From the APC website It appears that the APC meeting for October has been cancelled to allow the new Clerk to get up to speed on the current problems/situations. See quote below.

Monday 7th & Friday 11th October, using the Youth room at the back of the Annexe.
10am to 4pm.

After watching the BBC programme earlier this morning, which highlighted the termination of bus services in Audlem. It prompted the question what is happening re the APC?
According to their website, on 26 August it states a meeting is to be held Monday 7 October 7pm at AMC, no other information ie Agenda etc.
Is this meeting still going ahead?

Is there a Parish Council meeting tomorrow? I haven't seen any information about it.

As I sure that everyone is in opposition to this.

I have sent an objection by email.

However the restrictions on which objections can be made are so restrictive that I believe that most objections will be ruled out.

This order will be passed and we will all suffer. Audlem will suffer from casual visitors having to pay for parking. Nantwich will suffer from people going to pubs in the evenings. Nantwich players will suffer from parking charges. Users of the Civic Hall will also suffer from these charges. The general public will also suffer from people looking for free parking spaces.

This is a totally negative way to run Cheshire East for the benefit of the residents.

Any objection or other representation relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing. All objections or representations must specify the
grounds on which they are made. Objections and other representations should be sent, marked for the attention of the Parking Services Manager,
Cheshire East Council, Delamere House, Delamere Stre
