The Shroppie Fly is situated next to the canal and has extensive outdoor seating next to the water.

A wide range of cask ales is available as well as a full range of pub drinks. Food is available all day. The Shroppie Fly hosts music on many Fridays and Saturdays.

Situated in larger, brand-new premises in Shropshire Street, the Co-op sells a wide range of food and groceries including fresh bread, milk and produce, wines, beers and spirits.
There is a cash point immediately outside the store. The store also sells newspapers, has an on-line Lottery service and sells scratch cards. There are Pay Point services.
The Co-operative store is open daily from 7.00am until 10.00pm, 7 days a week.
