Something to interest AudlemOnline readers on Sunday:
This Sunday, 14th June, around lunchtime, the amazing sight of the Vulcan Bomber will be seen near Audlem as it sweeps in over Hankelow heading to the Cholmondley Pageant of Power.
Sadly this is the last ever chance to see the Vulcan XH558 in the air locally as it enters its final couple of months of permitted airworthiness due to the irreplaceability of its engines and parts of her airframe, so it is coming to the end of her flying life.
The aircraft has been restored to flight five years ago and kept flying by generous donations of all sizes in a public fund. Sadly no amount of finance can keep her flying after the end of August and
this is your very last chance to see her!
Eyes peeled around Sunday lunchtime folks! Look to the north... Cameras ready?
