VIP Wedding Weekend

Combermere Abbey Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th April

Combermere Abbey, possibly the North's most romantic wedding venue, will host its first VIP Wedding Open Weekend on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April. This exclusive event will be available only to a select number of couples as it will be a first come first served basis, so pre-booking is essential.

Each couple will be awarded dedicated time and the personal attention of a member of the Abbey's Sales and Events team. Explore a number of indoor and outdoor ceremony options, in the blossom-filled Victorian Walled Gardens, the world's only fruit tree maze and 'The Glasshouse'. View 'The Walled Garden Pavilion' with its stunning starlit ceiling and dedicated bar area, before being chauffeur-driven to the newly restored North Wing in the Abbey itself in the estate's own 1927 vintage Crossley Motor Car, which is also available as part of this enchanting venue's offering.

Here each couple will enjoy a personal guided tour by the House Manager around the new luxurious Salamanca rooms, Combermere's recently completed bridal suite. With its large master bedroom, ensuite bathroom and Tudor Study – it is truly spectacular, placed on the first floor of this beautiful Gothic historic building decorated and styled by internationally acclaimed interior designer, Nina Campbell.

Each couple will enjoy Canapés and drinks provided by the two award-winning designated caterers, Olive Tree and Pickled Walnut, and Gorilla Events, the venue's drinks and bar service company highlighting the outstanding levels of service provided by Combermere Abbey and its wedding team. Selected bridal suppliers, including Red Floral and Doug Krier Photography will inspire your own creative ideas for your perfect wedding day.

Appointments are available between the hours of 11am and 4pm on both days, each appointment will last around one hour.
