Allan and Jo at The Lord Combermere have announced yet more beers for the 1st Audlem Beer Festival this Sunday and Monday (August Bank Holiday).
The Three Tuns Brewery of Bishop's Castle in Shropshire is the oldest licensed brewery in the UK, having been brewing since 1642. The Combermere will be showing two of their beers, "Cleric's Cure" a 5.0% light tan coloured beer, and "XXX" a more modest 4.3%. This beer incidentally is an old Roberts Family recipe, the Roberts being long standing owners of the Brewery over many generations.
A taste of history, should be worth a try.
