Ed: We received this rather amusing anecdote from Geraint Davies but please note we cannot endorse the advice!
In view of the importance of the forthcoming voting day on the Audlem Neighbourhood Plan on 24th March, it's apt to be reminded of the slogan coined by a Welshman- Morris Llywelyn Humphreys, Al Capone's chief henchman. (Perhaps reflecting the Italian's difficulty with a Welsh name, he was known as "Murray the Hump").
In the 1927 rigged election for Al Capone's candidate of choice to be voted Mayor of
Chicago, 'the Hump' urged the citizens to,
"Vote early and vote often".
