On Saturday the 9th of April we will be holding a Task-Force work party at Audlem, with the plan being to undertake a varied range of important tasks and external requests.
The tasks will involve improving the important immediate area of the canal used by the "Audlem Lass" RNLI trip-boat, making the area visually better and safer for passengers awaiting or visiting the trip-boat.
We will also be working in the Lock 15 area of the canal, tidying the surrounding area in readiness for the heritage building/brickwork/lime mortar training and refurbishment of the lock-hut at Lock 15.
Training will also take place for volunteers on Saturday of strimmers and mowers.
Please let me know if you can attend – telephone number below. I will provide refreshments and snacks (Coffee, soft drinks, biscuits and snacks), suitable outdoor clothing and some lunch is all that's needed.
Meeting point and parking is at the Shroppie Fly, Audlem, CW3 0DX at 10.00am. See you there.
