A reminder that Morris Residential is holding an Open Afternoon and Summer BBQ this afternoon (Friday 18th June) between 1.00pm and 3.00pm at Cedar Court where it will launch its new events programme for residents and local people. Cedar Court is in the grounds of Corbrook Country Estate, just north of Audlem on the A529.
The open afternoon will provide an opportunity for visitors to tour the assisted living apartments and find out more about the extensive lifestyle choices possible at Cedar Court.
Morris Residential's chef, Paul Ratcliffe, will be providing BBQ tips to visitors as they enjoy Pimms in the Courtyard at Cedar Court.
The new events programme for Cedar Court includes exercise classes for the over 65's, trips to Chester Zoo, Llandudno, Shugborough Estate and the Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury, as well as a wildlife walk in September to celebrate National Wildlife Day.
Cedar Court aims to provide a new way of life for retired people with leisure top of the agenda. The development provides 15 one and two bedroom, self-contained apartments within a safe, friendly and fulfilling environment with shared gardens, dining room and extensive facilities.
Morris Residential Sales Manager Philippa Bason said: "Keeping active and fulfilled is vital in retirement. Our apartments are in a delightful situation which offers residents the best of both worlds – space and independence combined with the safety and reassurance of a close community.
