Started way back in 1812 as a celebration after harvesting, with much hilarity and high jinks, today's event is now held on the traditional Whit weekend – this year on May 26th – and is run by a very small team of hard working folks.

Whilst maintaining its traditional approach, its main aim is to present a fun day for all the family and is free of any charges to the public.

We are eager to have as many stalls as possible, so if you wish to have one, pleased contact Gwen Moss on 01270 811467 so that we can work together and have a great fun day.
