Slow broadband speeds

I was wondering if any other reader is experiencing very slow broadband speeds in the Audlem area. I'm not even getting 1mbps most times of the day and it's a lot less than that after 10.00pm.

My immediate neighbours in Mount Pleasant are having the same problem. The current project to upgrade the service to high speed internet( in excess of 20mb) cannot be the cause unless the contractors have messed up somewhere.

As a former IT professional I suspect that our area has had service restricted by having access to a number of servers removed. I have contacted BT and await their response but I suspect it will be BS!
