Short ARS to Cole Mere

The April Short-ARS walk will start from the Moor Car Park at Ellesmere, take in a stretch of the Llangollen Canal (including a tunnel) and a circuit of Cole Mere.

The walk is a flat, easy 5 miles with a few kissing gates but no stiles.

At this time of year there may be nesting herons to be seen on the Mere.

We meet in Audlem car park at 9.30am on Saturday April 26th for the 30mins drive to Moor Car Park, on the A495 just before the Boat House Visitor centre, Ellesmere (Cost £1.50 to park all day).
