Well done to all of the Key Stage 2 children and staff who performed their singing at the Big Switch On last Friday evening – you were all great ambassadars for school, thank you.
Amber class enjoyed another Stone Age experience in their Forest Schools adventure on Monday with Mr Hadfield.
The children had the opportunity to forage for nuts and fruit, collect edible insects, start their own fires and even make their own version of Stonehenge!
It was a fantastic day and the children are looking forward to completing work on this next week.
Amethyst class had a fantastic time at Tatton Park on Tuesday. We met lots of the animals on the farm and enjoyed touring the mansion which was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our favourite p rt was meeting Father Christmas and we all had a magical day.
Children from every year group arrived for lunch on Wednesday wearing their party hats and enjoyed a super feast! We had a wonderful Christmas lunch together with Christmas songs and all staff helping out with serving food duties. I would like to thank all of the kitchen and Mid-Day staff for all of the hard work they put into this event.
A special mention must go to Mrs Robinson-Cartlidge, our school cook, and Mrs Gavin, our Kitchen Assistant, who worked so hard to make sure everything
was ready for the lunch! Thank you.
