Scenes from the Historic Boat Gathering

Organisers Peter Sylvester, from Audlem Mil,l can be well pleased with the Historic Boat Gathering taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Some fantastic boats of real historical significance are gathered.
Prominent amongst them is "Elizabeth" built in the 1880's originally as a horse drawn boat, but so many other favourites are gathered – some of which are displayed in the photos. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Welcome too is Sue Cameron's Cheesy Boat who could never be described as "historic" – nor either Dek Owen and volunteers doing a sterling job on the canal and locks this weekend.
