Saints Winning Run Ended!!

Audlem Saints U8s winning streak was ended on Sunday in a great game with Nantwich Dabbers. A slow start from Audlem allowed Dabbers to quickly establish a 3-0 lead with some neat play. Credit to the Audlem boys though, who kept playing positively and created two wonderful goals to get the score back to 3-2. A long period of Audlem pressure ensued and the Dabbers goalkeeper played superbly to prevent an equaliser. As Audlem pressed further, Dabbers broke away and scored in the last minute to win a competitive game 4-2. Deserved thanks to boys and parents for braving a very "fresh" Sunday morning! Next week, the Wistaston Leopards await the Saints.
