On Tuesday 18th October, Andy Ruscoe- Icke from the Audlem Community First Responders In Conjunction with Nantwich First Responders, members of NWAS and the Fire and Rescue Service, completed #RestartAHeartDay 2016.
The aim was to train in excess of 100,000 people in the UK in basic life support skills in one day – see story earlier this week from NWAS.
Joining the event were 650 pupils at St Thomas Moore Catholic Secondary School, the pupils now know how to do CPR and what an AED is.
This was a national event all over the country involving the Resuscitation Council UK, the British Heart Foundation and regional ambulance services.
